How to Tie a Vintage Style Turban #2

Have you always wanted to try out wearing a vintage style turban or headscarf but don’t know where to begin?? Too much fabric to tie and tuck??

The turban tying series continues with style #2…

This style is # in a series I will continue with. It is all about how to tie vintage style turbans, hair scarfs, bandanas, the lot! I wear these all the time and I am always asked: “Can you show me how you did that???”

So I finally got to making some video tutorial to show you how I do mine! These are some of my first videos I have ever made, it was very SCARY!! But I made it for you and I had a lot of fun doing it! I will keep practicing and do some more!

Turbans and hair scarfs are a great fashion item that will give any outfit a very vintage feel. They are great for covering up bad hair days, lazy hair days, and still have pin curls in hair days!

In this video, I use vintage hat pins as a little decoration and ways of holding the turban together. You can get these at antique stores, ETSY and if you’re very lucky you might find one in a thrift store!

I will continue with this series on different ways to tie both turbans and hair scarfs, of different types as they all give different looks! Obviously with a vintage style to them all! So follow along and you will have some basic ideas to begin your own signature tying technique!

I’m going to be buying some fabric for a circle skirt and thought I’d get extra to make into a matching turban. Can you tell me the width of the fabric you used for yours? I love your tutorial, you make glamour look so easy!
