WHAT I WORE THIS WEEK – MY EVERYDAY VINTAGE STYLE

Another week has passed, and that means I have several more outfits to share! Last week I started a series on My Everyday Vintage Style, to shed some light on what vintage style might look like when not in full high glamour for events and photo shoots!

This is to serve as hopefully some inspiration for daily vintage dressing.

I still didn’t manage to snap pics every day, I just don’t remember everyday! But here are the most of them and some of the details of the pieces. I didn’t have any fancy events this week, sadly, so a lot of casual outfits this week!

As the weather is getting warmer where I am, I am beginning to think about that my summer wardrobe will entail this year, and what I might need to fill the gaps for the coming season!

It was commented on my Instagram that the outfit with the red top with the bow on it looked particularly ‘Christmassy’! This got me thinking about Christmas outfits, and it seems that quite a few of my followers on IG also have a love of festive outfits and some already have outfit!

Do you plan special outfits for Christmas?

Leave a comment below and let me know what you are planning this year!

I have just discovered your blog. Love your style – fashion, beauty and décor. I’m especially inspired by your 70’s and 80’s finds that you style to look 40’s.

    • Evelyn says:

Hello, Melissa! Thank you so much! I am really happy to hear that you have found some inspiration here! Yes, I love turning 70’s and 80’s things into beautiful 40’s looking pieces! It mostly doesn’t take very much for the magic to happen! I will have some great things in the future on this too!

  • Some great outfits there. And perfect examples on how you can accessorize “newer” vintage clothing for a more period look. Love the black and white plaid skirt with the red applique sweater. And that dress you made is adorable. It looks like an authentic vintage dress!

    • Evelyn says:

Hi Theresa! Yes, that skirt was a recent find and one that I love! It’s all my colors! I feel there is so much you can do to style newer vintage into more period looks, and then you don’t have to ruin your real vintage so much! The dress I made was with a 1950’s pattern and it is made from a beautiful rayon!
