What I Wore – My Everyday Vintage Style

I have my latest edition of What I Wore! It is a collection of the outfits that I have worn over the last week, or so! Intended to inspire you to see what you can bring to your everyday looks, not just the special events!

The last week has really started to heat up and summer outfits are in  full swing! I had no fancy outings in a while, so no ball gowns this week! A lot of casual wear and nice day dresses!

I have been working on  squeezing in  time to make some summer additions to my wardrobe, and I am progressing with that! I want to add a few new pieces into my repertoire of outfits this year, and have had the hardest time finding some vintage inspired sandals! So If anyone has suggestions, I would love to hear them!

I am heading for a long weekend to the tropics! So I am sure that you will see a lot of very summery outfits in  the next installment!

As always these posts are to serve as, hopefully, an inspiration as to what you can wear in  an everyday vintage style. How you might be able to put things together and how you might be abe to use different fashion items from  ‘newer’ decades to create a more vintage look!

  • So many cute outfits. And I love how you accessorize.
Where are you heading for your tropical vacation?
For sandals I tend to like Remix. They’ve got really cute vintage style low wedge peep toe sandals in a couple of different styles. I know they are on the pricier side, but they do have sale items and you can sometimes find them on Ebay. And I have to say, the couple of pairs I own I’ve had for over 10 years and they are still going strong. You definitely get what you pay for when it comes to Remix! And they didn’t pay me to say that 🙂

Theresa I am going to Mackay in North QLD! I have looked at Remix before, but I think I will take another look! It is good to know that they last so long as then it is totally worth the extra! Thank you for the tip!
