How to finish seams without an overlocker – 2 ways – pinking shears and zigzag stitch
If you don’t have an overlocker, how do you finish your seams so they look neat?

When you start sewing, it’s likely that you don’t have a fancy overlocker to finish your seams with!
So how do you finish them to look neat and professional? And of course, stop the fraying!
I’ll show you how to use my preferred method of pinking shears and then also a tutorial on how to do a zig zag stitch!
So now you have 2 neat ways to finish those seams, without a serger!

Sylvia yes!! It needs to be treated delicately, ans it still will fray after some time, but yes, they are a nice neat alternative! Glad you have a new tip!
