How I do Casual Sundays in Vintage Capes

I LOVE capes!

Yes there are so many reasons I adore this fashion item.

The first being that they are perfect for in between seasons, when it is not too hot or to cold and you just need something a little light to cove that fab dress you have on. Where I live is fairly hot, so even in winter it is not that cold and they are perfect as they still allow for breathing space!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I also love then because they are just glamorous to wear! I also feel just a little bit more fabulous with a floating piece of fabric around me, trailing in the wind! Very movie star!

And not that many people wear then, so you are almost guaranteed no one will be your fashion equal!

I wore this outfit for a very casual Sunday, and decided to do an impromptu photoshoot just as the rain started, so lucky I had an umbrella, though my photographer was not so lucky!

Whilst this not my most glamorous outfit you will see me wear, I thought I would still share it with you all the same, because not every day is a red carpet event and just because it is a casual day doesn’t mean that style has to be forgotten.
