$3 Dress Thrift Store REFASHION to 1940s style Vintage Dress! – Thrift to Vintage ep6

In this Episode of Thrift to Vintage, I take this $3 thrift store dress I hunted down, and I transformed it into a beautiful 1940s vintage inspired look!

I didn’t change so much to the dress but, it was mostly the additions that really make the vintage statement on this!

I found this 90’s vintage dress at the thrift store, and just knew it was going to be great for a 1940s style look!

I loved the rayon fabric and the print was not too modern looking!

I hunted around vintage magazines for some inspiration for the collar, and set to work!

I have already worn it and loved it!! It has such a 1940s look and who can’t resist the velvet!!!

I hope this gives you a little inspiration into what you might be able to refashion in your own wardrobe!
