1920’s style dress thrift store REFASHION – Thrift to Vintage EP5

In this episode of Thrift to Vintage, I take this rather ugly modern kaftan I found at the thrift store, and refashioned it into a beautiful 1920’s vintage style dress!

There are so many possibilities when you’re learning to sew, refashioning thrift store clothes is such a great way to do it!

This one is probably more for the intermediate sewer, with those stripes and corner seams! Thay are tricky!

It’s perfect for summer and I can’t wait to wear it!

I am really happy I took the time to match all those stripes! It is very 1920’s style.

I hope you like the transformation!

I went on your site to see some different ways to attach a small hat to the head outside of bobby pins and stumbled upon this caftan conversion. I am so inspired and I so appreciate your delivery. Thank you !
